Poor customer service from Airtel.
Currently Iam having broadband connection in Bangalore with account number: 15945329(.Asked for landline connection without any additional extra charges- CSR told its not possible to give landline without paying 500Rs additional deposit.
I got a call from cancellation department after I placed a request for cancellation of my broadband connection.They promised theyll give landline without additonal cost and give 20% discount for 3 months after installation with in 48 hours. As I didnot even get any call, I called up csr and enquired about this.They told there is no request and raised a new request for landline( "1547802") and waited for 2-3 days.But no calls from Airtel.
2) I Called to check the status of it, they told its closed as no one was picking up the phone.I didnot even get a single call.Any how I gave another alternate number to call me assuming theyll call me.
3) Again when I called up, they told the same status as request is closed and they didnot even update my alternate number.
4) Got frustated with calling them again and talked to Escalation managers "PAVITHRA " and "MADHU" .Finally in vain, with out getting any responsible answers to address the issue.
Got point of contact of Mr.Sunith, Nodal Manager as 0804115338 from MADHU for further escalations.
Try to call 4-5 times on this number today and waited for around 10 mins every time "saying nodal officer is busy" and got disconnected.
Above is the worst experience of Airtel Customer service.After so much follow up calls for 2weeks, Now I planned to disconnect my broadband connection and my airtel postpaid mobile connection which I have been holding for 6 years because of this worst customer service.
Till today, I havenot event got a single call regarding this request.Do airtel think they can play around customers with out doing any thing responsible actions.
