I had applied for a broadband connection on 12th November 2015. I had applied for a package with 50 Mbps /60 GB limit, and was promised to be given the connection in 3 days time. It has been one month now, and I am yet to receive my connection!
The request was given through sales person Mr. Ruben Chakraborthy, as he was supposed to be the single point of contact for our apartments. The request was not even forwarded / approved for 3 weeks!
After making several calls, the team conveniently gave the rains as excuse, but even before the floods itself 3 weeks had passed WITHOUT ANY progress. I had registered for a customer complaint(number #62007048), but even that was in vain.
I work primarily from home and the presence of Internet connection is of utmost importance for me - yet I have been struggling for one month now, without a proper connection, juggling between different places in search of a reliable network.
I am fed up of having to chase the airtel executives, who do not even have the courtesy to pick up or return the calls. Each time that I manage to talk to them, they give false hopes that the connection will be done by the same day - which never happens.
