I have applied and paid for Turbo 30Gb, 4mbps connection in the first week of May2012. They came and put a 2mbps line and went. The installer told me just inform the customer care they will change within 24hours.
From that time till now(4th week Now), I have got five service request numbers with an assurance that within 7 working days it will be rectified. The current assurance is by 30th May 2012 it will be rectified.For all the service request raised, they have never given a call back till now.
The worst thing to suffer as a customer is when you call up the customer support. They will disconnect the line when you ask them to connect to their supervisor or when you ask them any queries.My line was disconnected more than 10 times in last three weeks.They will put your call on hold and after sometime they will disconnect the line. When I call up again, I have to start explaining my problem from the beginning.If I ask them to refer my complaint number, they will put my call on hold and disconnect again.
In my case, till now, I have been given various reasons for delay: Some will say In this part of Bangalore 4mbps is not possible/Some will say we are in the process of registering after that only we will confirm/Another suggestion given is You wait for one month and once the bill is generated you apply for plan migration/. Imagine the frustration when you have to listen to all these rubbish from these morons.
They also have one standard reply.We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused.You will get a call from our team within 7 working days. which as never happened.
In between I have called up the Sales Executive, who came to my residence, umpteen number of times.twice he picked up my call and said he will rectify it from his side and told me not to call up customer support as it is maintained by IBM and they are not efficient. No idea why he said that.Nowadays he does not pick up my call.
I will suggest you guys never ever apply for AIRTEL BROADBAND
