My connection has been wrongly migrated to a different plan without informing me. I have raised a Service Request for this issue and a resolution was promised to me by 27th Dec 2011. However, I am still
waiting for a resolution. The Service Request number is 9021852.
I am shifting to a new residence and want to get my connection shifted too. I have raised a Service Request for this issue too. The Service Request number is 9827650. However, this morning I was called and informed that there is no feasibility for my new address.
I was not surprised as I am not experiencing this for the first time. Last year when I requested for a change in address, I was given the same answer. I was shifting from the 13th Cross to the 22nd Cross of the same lane, and I was bluntly informed that there were no chances of getting the connection shifted. I had to write long complaint mails, and call the customer care repeatedly, post which I was suddenly informed that it is very much feasible to get the connection shifted.
I wonder if this is the standard procedure that Airtel likes to follow:
Give blunt answers, and then wait and see if the customer raises any complaints. If the customer breaks his head over the issue and writes to the customer care, give him the resolution that he is seeking.
