Airtel Broadband is in the market only for cheating the consumers. When the broadband prices are going down, they keep on increasing their prices. I wonder how they are operating under TRAI guidelines by continously increasing their plan charges and closing their cheaper plans.
The government should keep a check on such Fly by Night operators who want to capitalise on the internet boom, without providing any services. Airtel is providing a 749/- per month plan for unlimited download all over Delhi except Saouth Delhi.
The same plan was available till last month for Rs. 649/- per month, In South Delhi, they are providing a minimum unlimited plan for Rs. 899/- which is just 1.5 times what MTNL is providing without any hassles. Moreover, they have absurd excuses for not providing a particular plan in certain locations, while same plan is being provided all over Delhi.
The customer care and nodal officers say that due to feasibility issues, it can not be provided only in South Delhi whereas it can be provided in all other localities of Delhi. I was using a 799/- per month plan earlier which has now been discontinued by them. It is for the Government to take notice of these operators and bring them to book.
