Bunch of liars dealing with new customers

Seems like a scam: Technician confirms the feasibility of connection, gets the form filled up, takes the money and then the final status is declared as "junction box is full". They even stop taking the phone calls and do not return the money. This status of junction box should have been known during feasibility study. Absolute lies! No escalation path that seem to work. Below is my experience. Beware of these crooks who are mentioned below:


I have been trying to get a new Airtel broadband connection at my residence and I have had the most harrowing experience with the Airtel people. I had initiated the request on 24th Nov and after multiple follow ups, a field representative came at my residence on 5th Dec and got the form filled up and took the money for a new connection. He mentioned that the new connection will be installed within a week’s time. It has now been over 3 weeks and I still haven’t got the connection.


The person who collected the form is Sudhakar(+919663305431). After following up a few times, he stopped taking my calls and gave me the number of Radix(080 41523080). I spoke to a person called Shetty(+919945175452). Every time I spoke to him, he told me that it will be done in a day or two and someone will call me up to fix the time for installation. After a few days, even he stopped taking my calls and gave me another number: Suresh(+917259555999). He also gave me the same commitment that the connection will be installed on Dec 22/23, but there has been no action beyond that. This has been very very frustrating for me to keep following up with these people, but to no avail. Their approach has been completely unprofessional!


I have also called up the customer care number multiple time and they say that the junction box at my apartment is full and the new connection is not possible and that my money will be refunded. These people keep telling me that there has been a cancellation and that port can be assigned to me. I don’t even know which one to really believe!


My trust in Airtel has really plummeted.
