I was a Tata Indicom broadband customer for over 2 yrs and have been their victim of their bad connectivity and very very bad service. You will come to know about my exp. with them if you read my other reviews. 3 months back I decided I will move on and luckily Airtel ports were available after a long wait and I immediately grabbed the connection.
Unbelievably within 1/2 an hr of making the call a guy was at my home to explain me the plans took the advance payment and the very next day I got the connection. The download speeds have been brilliant and consistent. No variations( which I was used to using the Tata connection).
Since this is a wired connection a few days after I got my connection due to some reason the wire had snapped I had to call up the customer care. I was told my issue will be looked at in max of 24hrs also that day was a holiday for them and I was told there might be a delay in servicing my request. But again to my surprise there a guy at the door within couple of hrs and the issue was resolved. In comparison to Tata where whenever I had raised a complaint it would always be neglected an auto closed by some idiotic moron at the call centre and I would run without service for days together. Without me calling them up escalting the issue serveral times the issues would never get resolved.
Another time the phone that Airtel had provided stopped working, but since I wasnt using the landline much I never bothered to call them up and complain. But someone from Airtel called up for a routine feedback and I just happened to tell them the service was good the phone had broken down. The minute I diconnected the call I got a call again by their engineer that they will be coming to my house to replace the set within a hour. Wow!
For the past 3 months I have been pampered by their service and have been repenting why I dint get this connection earlier. Hats off to Airtel and keep up the good work.
