Took installation money but no connection.

I cant believe this is the state of the biggest telecom brand in the country. Paid for a new Airtel connection 10 days back, but got nothing other than a piece of paper and incalculable desperate emails to Airtel.


I shifted to Bangalore and desperately wanted landline connection since my society has poor mobile connection. So like anybody would do, reached out to Airtel online and started receiving calls from their DSA. Eventually within next day I had a Airtel rep. who visited my house 02/03/2016, took Rs. 500, gave me a form with CEF. no. TBLR 7079157 and an email ID lakshmi.teledsa@gmail.com for mailing my ID proofs. He promised that the installation will have within next 48 hours.


Since then my chase has begun, I have tried reaching this mail ID, Airtel Bangalore ID(care.karnataka@airtel.in) and even Airtel’s nodal officer ID(nodal.central@in.airtel.com) but have received no reply.


Writing here is my desperate effort to make my voice reach some relevant ears. I cant believe Airtel employs DSA who eventually dupe people by simply taking money and giving them all possible false promises.


AIRTEL, please don’t hand over your brand to such cheats. I am stuck with options considering don’t have any other service provider, but those who have please weigh your options other than Airtel, if this is the state.
