We had this airtel broadband connection which we wanted to shift to a new location . We logged a request with airtel on 26.09.2011, clearly stating that the connection needs to be shifted on 01.10.2011, but to our surprise, when we came home on 27.09.2011, we found it already disconnected.
we called up the customer care, instead of rectifying the mistake done on their part in logging the request, they told us there was nothing they could do and we had no option than to wait for the net connection till 01.10.2011.
Finally, after getting fade up of their irresponsible ways of handling our request and providing no other option to us, we had to get the net connection disconnected.
It seems so sad that the consumer is always the sufferer here in india, even with private service providers like airtel, whoever makes the mistake.
