Its been a year since ive subscribed to Airtel Broadband. Ive been getting good speeds more than what was promised. But that aint the issue you need to be worried about if youre opting for Airtel BB. From the start Ive always had wondered how my hi speed data quota finishes off fast, given my fairly decent level of online activity.
Recent days Ive been facing this issue, that my high speed quota vanishes in jiffy with in days after billing cycle starts. I did examine and secure my connection and wi-fi and install data usage meters and turns out to be the pilferers are none but the providers. And theres nobody in Airtel management who doesnt wants to answer this. I ask for an itemised data usage which theyre not willing to provide.
So cheap. And theyve been vociferously promoting their smartbytes(where you pay extra to get HSD in the same billing period) and plan upgradation and they did succeed a couple of times in that.
But now Ive got enough evidence that suggests theyve been involved in such unethical practices and working on suing them in the consumer courts.
