This might sound unusual, but the problem Ive been facing for over a year and a half has nothing to do with the speed and service/product support too has been tremendous except for this problem which they just cannot rectify - drop in connection on a laptop every 20-25 minutes and problem in connecting multiple mobile devices. Im an 8 year old broadband customer of theirs.
Ever since I had Airtel IPTV installed Ive been unable to get a consistent connection. Does the modem go off? No. Did I get a new modem installed? Yes. A problem within my devices? They work perfectly on other internet connections. 1.5 years!
Been patient enough. The IPTV actually provided a great utility, as my mom can watch her favourite soaps without being bothered to catch them at the same time, and yes, they do provide 12 HD channels in my area. The quality of both HD and SD channels is pretty good when compared to local cable operators.
But it is frustrating to not get my phone connected instantly over the WiFi instantly, playing on-line multilayer games is a nightmare due to frequent drops averaging every 15 minutes. And with these new service providers, especially DEN Boom Band which are providing great speed and reliable connections at low cost have been luring me to get out of this Airtime three tier trap.
Now they do provide unlimited local calling for 49/- for their beloved broadband customers which is a steal, but this gives me a difficult time deciding on how and what other phone, internet and TV options to choose. I might just stick to their basic fixed line connection while opting for Den Digital TV and Den Boomband. Any suggestions?
