I have been an Airtel customer for over 10years. In Dec 2014, since I went abroad, I asked for a disconnection, I returned in Jan 2015, just about a month and half and asked for reconnection.
This is what happened at the J.P Nagar Airtel outlet. The executive looking into my case typed the incorrect address, and phone number. A copy of the passport was provided, she should have checked in the first place which she didnt and a day after I got the connection my phone was barred as the address could not be verified.
I went to the office once more and submitted my passport copy and told her that she had entered the data wrong. It has been a week now and my phone is still barred. I have sent numerous mails to 121 with my passport copy and called them several times and the issue is still pending. Despite the manager taking up the case it is still not closed.
Is this is kind of service rendered Airtel? You are just total crap.
