To everyone who are planning to avail; broadband services from Airtel, this is what you are getting into
I had been a loyal customer of airtel for last one year and I bought broadband services in 2008 for 799 Rs scheme.This plan had 256 kbps download and 130 kbps upload.
To my surprise I came to know recently the same plan (speed and a;ll ) is available at cost of 649 and that too with free calls of 100 Rs. How strange is that they didn’t even bothered to inform that I am paying 150 Rs extra for deteriorated service when same thing is available at cheaper price in their very own company.
Ideally they should have made the 799 plan obsolete but they didn’t and keep on cheating the innocent loyal consumers.
I even called their customer care and they just silently admitted it has been a mistake but they won’t be able to do anything about it.
