Airtel- The network of frauds.. Pls dont go for it

We were Airtel broadband (with land line) users for the last 3 years. During these years we found that the entire billing system was absolutely third rated and they were charging excess amounts for nothing, even when there was no usage from our end. Our usage was also minimal, since we were all working and there is no time to access internet at home. Despite so many complaints by us, they kept sending bills regularly and we did not get proper explanation for the excessive charges.


So we thought of disconnecting the network. One of their executives came home and we gave him a request letter for disconnection and paid the outstanding amount. This happened during the month of Oct 2011. Then the line was completely disconnected and we even received a confirmation letter from Airtel. But now, from the month of Dec 2011, we started getting calls from airtel executives asking us to pay the bill amount generated for the month of Dec 2011. It was really shocking to hear that. We asked them how could they generate a bill for an unused connection. But they were not ready to hear what we say and still they are torturing us by calling at all odd times. We told them that we will even provide the confirmation letter from Airtel.


They are just repeatedly calling us and asking us to pay the bill amount. This is highly ridiculous. We are facing this mental torture from Airtel even now.
