Fraudulent BIlling

On 23rd December, 2010 I called Airtel to migrate the internet plan to 1399/- unlimited download plan. It was communicated that the plan was migrated successfully. For the month of January and February I got my bills in accordance to the new plan that I have migrated.


However the bill for month of March have shot upto 3500/- . On inquiring, I was communicated that the plan was never migrated to 1399/- unlimited download plan rather it was migrated to 1399/- limited download plan. and as a result the bill is now 3500/-


Have called up Airtel at least 4-5 times in the last 1-2 weeks but have never got an answer to my queries. Everytime I am being told that billing dept will call you back but I never get a call back.


I am on the verge of approaching the consumer court. Will wait for this week and in case I do not get a response back. I will raise a case in consumer court.


The connection quality is really good , no complaints on that. But the billing system really sucks.
