Horror stories of collections

We were also using Airtel Broadband in our office. And 3 years back we had discontinued their service because of some connection issues and broadly as there was a cheaper connection out there.


Now, three years hence, Airtel came up with a bill that is pending in our name. Incidentally, we got a new airtel connection last year that we are using.


But the collection people of this company are really very terrible. they use so abusive and threatening language which is completely not reflecitve of a civilized world.


Even as a business, it does not make any sense because I am currently an airtel customer paying more than INR 30K per month on various services and they are trying to threaten for a total amount of INR 55K. They need to have a better analytics team too.


Lets see if I need to get a lawyer involved from my side. But maybe there should be a "class action" suit against this company for such abusive people.
