Worst Service. No response. No customer care call

Never go for Advance Rental plan and get cheated. Please find below my escalation email to Airtel which would summarize the pain which I have faced with Airtel. I was in association with Airtel for more than 10 years and for the last 2 years I regret being with Airtel. I have already switched my mobile and DTH. Now switching my broadband as well.


My Issue details with Airtel service.

  1. I have paid Rs 6000+ for 6 months advance rental plan. But my service is disconnected before the end of the service.

  2. Due to lock down I got struck in Coimbatore and I have requested for Transfer request to Coimbatore more than 2 month before. Transfer request(117691322) is yet to get processed. I am not using the broadband service for last 4 month and yet to get the broadband service for the advance rental amount paid.

  3. Have received a bill for Amazon Prime service subscription for Rs 998 without my confirmation for renewal. I have sent stop notice to the renewal reminder message I have received as I am not interested for paid subscription. Check my history email for attachment reference. Req#(118746108)

  4. With 6 month advance rental plan I was told by customer care I was eligible for free amazon prime subscription. However I have received bill for Amazon prime subscription renewal in this 6 month period.

  5. Voice customer care is not reachable even by entering the service number created through App. Get message invalid service request while the service request is active in Airtel App.

  6. No response received yet for reporting/escalation done through email.

  7. When requested for new service connection during this lockdown period, I get response immediately. I was suggested to get a new connection instead of transfer to avail the service.

  8. Struggling with Mobile internet during this lockdown period to support working from home. As my money is locked could not go for new service connection as well.

Number of correspondence or chase up made by me to resolve the issue - 10+ in email, 10+ call with no response, Entering option 1 to get customer care call back - 20+.
