In a single sentence."Airtel 3G data card sucks’. I am using Airtel 3G data card(HUAWEI E1731) in Perungudi area(behind life line hospitals). The service is very very bad. I am getting a speed of max 60 KBPS(yes, Kilo Bytes Per Second) where as promised was about 3 MBPS. I felt AirTel cheated.
Somehow, when I had a demo in Besant Nagar Airtel store, the speeds were about 2 MBPS downoad, and 0.5 MBPS upload. I think they have cheated with their exclusive SIM card(within 3G data card).
Please do not use Airtel 3G data card service. I am going to try BSNL 3G datacard which I heard is good in service.
