I had written following email to Airtel on 5/11/14, and they replied that I have to pay for 2 plans, even though one is deactivated.
Can you believe they take prepayment and yet do not give services.Horrible.Never ever go for Airtel dongle.Tata is the best in services.Where are these bloody Mittals? No one in Airtel is bothered to solve this.I am surely taking them to consumer court.

I have changed my plan from advance rental Rs 3500 plan for 3 months to Rs 950 for 6 gb/month, postpaid plan.
Lies by Airtel:
I had called customer service twice in the month of October 1st week to change my advance rental plan to another plan. Every time I was told to visit gallery for the same.
Nearest airtel gallery is 17 km away from my home. On arriving to gallery I was told that you can change this by calling customer service center, I was shocked to hear that.
Question 1: Do I need to go to gallery for changing plan?
If no, I claim Rs 680 as a taxi fare to Airtel. If yes, please provide the same to me as a email reply.
I had told airtel gallery person to change my plan from next billing cycle. My billing cycle is 20th of every month. My 3 months advance rental plan completed on 19th October. My plan was changed to Rs 950/month postpaid plan on 20th October, which I checked with my accounts in airtel.
Issue: I was issued a bill of Rs 3500+ taxes on 21st october. I had called airtel customer service centre twice to rectify and send me a new bill only after 1 month from 20th October. Airtel customer service centre has not acted on it till date.
Question 2: Do you expect customer to pay for services which he has not used? How much time does Airtel take to solve billing issues?
I will wait for an answer from you till tomorrow. Later to which I will pay the bills and after each day of payment I will claim a refund with 18% rate of interest.
Please do not call me to ask what is an issue. I have explained it in detail with almost 30 min. phone call to your customer service team. I expect a reply only as an email reply.
Please check my phone conversations with your customer service. I too have recorded all calls. If the dispute is not settled I will have to approach consumer court, where I will claim Rs 1, 00, 000 for mental torture for using Airtel 3G Dongle services.
