I did buy the airtel DTH few months back after getting myself stressed with selection of package. Dont expect it to be installed quickly as it will take atleast 10 days. To my shock, they have activated all the regional packs, except my preferred language. Exactly opposite to what is filled in the form.
I immediately called customer care & blasted them for this. The lady nicely told me she cannot do anything & I have to recharge some amount to get it changed ( So I would loose 3 months free viewing offer) . I told her to connect me to the manager in charge or else I will file a case against them as I had a proof of the form as a copy.
One more lady spoke to me & I told her, dont tell story, will you change it within 24 hrs or not. & they did. That means its a simple trick of fooling customer
Relocation mess : I want to relocate to a new place within 2 km of old place. I have called CC & informed them about this. Everyday one agent calls me , asks details, then he will say its not his area & closes the ticket.
Its been 8 days now & their CC experience is pathetic , evrytime they say it will be done next day.
Airtel has all the ads for sellling new connections only. Gone are the days when we believed airtel is the best. They have turned as a sub par company with only money making not the service focussed.
