I am a Airtel DTH user for some six years now and all I can say they have the worst service ever. I shifted to a new house in the same locality and asked the Airtel guys to relocate my TV connection ASAP because I had already shifted when I registered the complaint. (I registered complaint late because every time I called them earlier that week they told me their server was down so they can’t register my complaint. So the fault is again theirs).
Now they gave contract to some local guy and told me that it will take 7 days. I asked them who will pay the rent for those 7 days but they seemed unaffected. Upon calling them again and again they gave up and gave me the contact number of the local service provider who had the contract to fix the DTH in my locality, And the rest is history, I faced severe mental harassment because the local guy would tell me everyday that the technician will come at this or that time and like always, they never came. One day I lost my cool and abused the guy for an hour over phone and threatened to file a police complaint against them. It’s only after that, that they took me seriously and fixed the DTH the same day.
But by then I had already incurred too much loss for I had to keep the keys for my old house with me (and pay the rent for some 25 days) to be able to dismantle the DTH. NOT recommended at all.
