Had bought a Sony 40" LCD TV , 15 months back . Since the TV supported True HD , decided to go for a DTH services . Friends and family suggested Airtel . And since I was customer of Airtel Broadband and Landline services and quite happy with their service , I went for Airtel DTH .
Went to a retailer and asked about the packages available . Opted for the HD box . Had to pay Rs 2280 for the Set top box, the dish and the cables . Was given two months of Mega Package free. After paying the retailer , I got a call with in five hours from the installer. The equipment was upset and installed in the next two hours .
Being happy with the service a month later. I recharged for 12 months, Airtel gave me two months free , so I got 14 months for the price of 12 months. It’s been 15 months now , and there was no complaints from my side. Cannot comment on the Customer Service , because I never needed to use them .
So, in a nutshell I am happy :)
