Pathetic customer support

Last Saturday, I had an experience of Airtel DTH. I had gone to my friend’s house in Gurgaon. He has a Airtel DTH connection. At around 7 p.m. we decided to subscribe the ESPN package as we had to watch the India-Afghanistan match. So my friend sent a message. from his registered mobile for package addition. We waited for 10 min. but no SMS came. So we decided to call the customer care. After a few attempts we finally managed to get connected to the customer care .


Then we were made to do a few selections after which we were told to be connected as they were connecting us to the customer care representative. But the call disconnected after a few secs. We again tried but in vain. After waiting a few min, we gave it another shot. This time we were able to get to the representative. After asking for our details he asked us to hold for a while , as he was checking the credentials. But the call got disconnected a minute after that.


By this time we were totally frustrated and decided not to try any more. (The real reason being that the match wasn’t of great importance.)


Overall it was a very frustrating experience.
