I am an Airtel digital TV customer. Since June 11, 2010, I am not getting their services. The msg says "Please recharge your account to continue your services." The fact is that I have an annual pack valid for an year till 2011. I lodged a complaint, service request no. - 3049757, regarding this on June 13, 2010. Nothing happened. On June 14, 2010, I received a message that the issue is resolved, though nothing was done to resolve the issue. I complained again on June 14, 2010, and asked them how the issue can be closed without they doing anything. Thereafter they raised another request no. 3058994 on June 14, 2010. On June 15, 2010, I again received a message that the complaint is resolved.
They had done nothing and the issue was still there. Inspite of having an annual pack, I am not having the services since last 7 days. I fail to understand how they can close an issue without resolving it. I am fed up of calling them daily for the last 7 days. It is taking me around 2-3 hours daily to get connected to their number, explaining everything to each and every call center executive, and then they disconnect the call in the middle. So, I have to call again...explain everything agin. I am thinking now of taking a Tata Sky connection and getting the Airtel DTH disconnected. After all, why should I continue paying to Airtel without getting any services.
Update: Today is June 22 2010...11 days have passed....I have raised complaints 3 more times...this time also they closed it without resolving the issue. Dear friends, you should buy Airtel DTH only if you have ample amount of time and money to waste. Will keep you guys updated.
