I got the Airtel standard DTH connection on 12-Feb-2012. From the day of installation, the quality of the video is very much poor and is faded. I informed the issue to cust care center, several times and at last a service engineer came to my house.
The service engineer told me that standard set-top box cannot provide good quality video on LCD/LED TV’s and should be upgraded to HD or HDDVR settop-box.
At least they should inform the customer or mention in the website that the video quality is poor and need to buy HD settop box for LCD TVs. Now they tell I have to spend another Rs. 1900 to upgrade to HD. This is one of the worst kind of money-making business and cheating.
