I am facing the issue with Airtel DTH from 30th October 2011. I logged complain with Airtel customtakeouter care(12150). From October 30th, I have called the customtakeouter care more than 25 times. Every time
you have to explain the whole story to them. After listening the issue they only tell "Sorry for the inconvenience and your problem will be resolved". Every day a new reference number is generated.
Hell after sell service by Airtel DTH. Worst coordination between the Service engineer and customtakeouter care. Engineer visiting to home are not equipped with desired skills.
Also, one more surprising thing is without any resolution and any engineer visit, your ticket will be closed and a SMS will be forwarded to your registered mobile. Within last 8 days, 3-4 engineers visited my home and replaced my 2010 set-top box model with old 2008 model. Now the problem is in every 30 seconds, "B002:System Error has occurred" is displaying at top left of the TV panel and the TV screen goes blank for 20 seconds. This is keep-on happening.
One more thing to share even if the DTH is in warranty period, you will be asked to pay Rs. 100.0 as service engineer charge(after 6 months of connection).
I also tried calling the Nodal Officers, instead of taking action they are favoring Airtel.
Also, I have written an e-mail to digitalTV@airtel.in, but yet to get any response after 7 days.
As I am having one-year subscription, otherwise I could have disconnected the connection.
My suggestion to all, Please don’t go for Airtel DTH.
