Worst service

Used Airtel DTH for the 8 months. The customer service is non existent. Was not able to watch any channels for 1 month, they didn’t come to rectify the problem and my one month’s money went down the drain. After that I stopped recharging,  then the phone started ringing: why I have not recharged and blah blah blah... Then after 2 months someone came to check and solve the problem.


This time I decided to give it one more try and recharged. But after sometime it stopped working again and my Rs 500/- went down the drain. They also don’t have all the channels and they don’t have plans to add the missing one’s. In fact someone from Airtel called me up asking why I am not recharging my account, I told them about my problems and also that I want to watch Discovery Turbo & Science Channels, to which he replied that there is no difference between Discovery Science and normal Discovery Channel. In fact these people calling from Airtel don’t even know what different channels are now available and should be added to their channel packages. So, please, to all the mouthshut users, DON’T DECIDE ON AIRTEL DIGITAL TV.


Compared to what I had experienced earlier with Dish- TV from ZEE, they have improved a lot in terms of their service and customer care. I started my distv subscription again, getting a lot better service now, lot more channels, at a lesser price. I will not say that they are perfect but at least they have tried to improve in areas where they were lagging behind.
