  1. Airtel Digital TV’s billing is very faulty - they take customers for a ride. They keep tampering your account with the deposit money that they hold. You would get to know after a long time when your complete balance diminishes and services stop suddenly without any notice and to your surprise.




  2. After, subscribing to a particular package - they keep on tampering with your package and balance. They keep changing your deal and reduces the number of channels. They do not stand by their commitments. These matters are dealt very lightly by the company and do not agree to pay a heed to numerous complains lodged.




  3. Call Centers are a real mess - waste of time to get connected & speak with someone - very low competency of the service staff, in terms of understanding, courtesy, promptness in action.




  4. I am fed up in dealing with them. There is no peace of mind. Always you are in tension and can never rely upon. Something or other keeps happening always and you get frustrated in explaining and following up with those in-competencies. Though ultimately still you would be a looser. It is not possible for you to track everyday as to what all they are changing behind the scene. Keeping tab on a DTH account cannot be anyone’s prime job. These comes under Low Priority for most and that’s how the company takes advantage of the situation. As the balance, is with them and they can very well stop services, hence they intentionally wipe out your balance in someway or other and thus you would be at their mercy. This amounts to UNFAIR TRADE PRACTICES, FLEECING OF CUSTOMERS, BLACKMAILING.




  5. There is no transparency. You really have to fight it out with them. It seems, that the policy of the company is to delay matters. I have definitely made a wrong choice in subscribing to Digital Airtel TV.






Unless and until the company improves upon all these issues, I would not recommend to subscribe with Airtel Digital TV. There are many other DTH services available in the market. Please do a thorough survey and you may go for some good ones offering more transparency towards customers in respect of charging and billing.
