Day 1- I wanted a multi TV connection for Airtel DTH, and called Airtel customer care. They were so nice that they offered to call us back within 1 hour, and provide me all the details. Forget 1 hour, it has been 4 days, and no call was made.
Day 2- I followed up again, and the customer care rep handed over the call to a so called Supervisor, who apologized, and also, provided me a with Booking ID, for the new installation. I was again, promised that they would call us back in 30-mins!!
Day 3- Since I already had a booking ID, I was confident that I can track the status to some extent, and made a call to customer care again. To my surprise, no such ID existed! I was shocked that I was given a fake booking ID... and I had to repeat my story again, after being put on hold for almost 30 mins.. They are so careless that they never attend to their customers.
LEARNT MY LESSON THAT, TATA SKY IS ANYTIME BETTER THAN AIRTEL.
AIRTEL, THANK YOU FOR TREATING YOUR CUSTOMERS LIKE THIS, YOU WILL HAVE NONE AT THE END OF THE DAY. **==Result: NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE BY AIRTEL. THEY DO NOT CARE!
Conclusion: I AM SWITCHING TO TATA SKY. GOODBYE TO AIRTEL.==*
