Hi,
This is regarding a worst experience with Airtel digital TV which is being faced by me,
It started when my Airtel Set Top box was restarting again and again hence, I had lodged a complaint to get it repaired.
The technician came and didnt even touch the box and said that, we dont repair these boxes as we are re calling it from the market.
Everyone is being given an HD box(amount is double and you have to give it at any cost).
I took it, later I received a call that 2 HD channels need to be subscribed mandatorily as you have taken HD box(i informed him that this is not on my wish to upgrade, this was due to your scarcity of boxes) still he said that this is mandatory and has to be taken.
I written to nodal officer and they informed that, this was a mistake and written action has been taken against this and no HD subscription is needed.
Again after few days I recd a call by another cust care executive saying the same thing that it is mandatory to subscribe min 2 HD channels otherwise all channels will be automatically activated and will b charged accordingly.
Again I complained the nodal officer and they assured that this will not get repeated and apologized for the same.
Still they have activated it and have deducted as per HD and normal box rules from my account.
This is completely not acceptable for any customer.
