Customer Care liars: Don't go for Airtel

I would like to share one of my worst experience ever with a Customer care and its with Airtel DTH Customer care. I had an issue with my STB raised a Complaint on 19th Nov’2010 ticket # 4523102, Customer care assured that a tech would come to my place next day which is on 20th Nov’2010 but he didnt turn up and I got a SMS stating that the issue has been resolved with mobile # to followup if the problem is still persist. When I call the Mobile # it keeps ringing, no response from the other End.


I called the next day and raised another complaint notified that my ticket got closed with my knowledge the executive gave another ticket number "4545667" assured that will be fixed on the same day or maximum next day morning. I got another SMS with issue resolved, I got frustrated and called the customer care I was disconnected couple of times, Customer care representitives seems to be very rude on customers and for time being they’re giving some promises and closing the call.


I escalated the issue to a Supervisor who seems to be listening to me and assured my issue will be resolved before 12 Noon 24th Nov’2010. However, nothing turned up I will totally frustrated with the false commitments and unreliable product as I have had issues with the STB earlier and got it replaced THRICE within an year. Again called Airtel and a supervisor by the Hemanth assured me that he would call me with a couple of hours, I writing this review after 6 hours crossed the dead line.


Folks now my Question to Airtel is if we didn’t re-charge did they allow us to watch the program or simply disconnect and wait us to recharge?


I have been facing issues with Airtel DTH for the past 5 days, still the issue seems to be continuing? Did Airtel charge all these sweet days or deduct the money from my account?


God only knows whether someone could come to fix my issue. I looking for alternate DTH service providers or back to my Cable guy who was very good and addressed my issue on a timely basis.


I’m really bothered a lot, I had committed one BIG Mistake in my Life by selecting AIRTEL DTH.
