I was using airtel DTH from almost one year, as I was an employee then this was just a type of perk given to us,
Later for better prospects I resigned AIRTEL and now @ April last week I have shifted my room from Koramangala to Hoody so that I can be near to my new office and same time on travel.
I requested DTH 12150 for a shift, the reply I got is that "if you carry the DTH and STB to your new place you can save Rs 300/- so that we will only charge Rs 300/- for shifting instead of Rs 600/- and also re-installation wil be done faster - I did that on 30th April 2011 and asked the Techies to come and reinstall at my new place.
Till date believe me the DISH n STB are lying IDLE - no response from 12150 / HELP SMS / and the local dealer.
Every one has their own voice to say - which is not common.
12150 - mostly disconnect when it is connected to the CSR otherwise, upto the time you are in the wait mode and choosing options it is ok - no problem to hear the airtel music and keep me in line awaited - when it comes to CSR - it gets disconnected.
HELP SMS - when u send this SMS people call you as per their wish you need to wait some times they do not even have time to respond even days past.
Local Dealer - somehow I got the number of local dealer - I spoke to him only once - he promised it reinstall on 08th may 2011 @ 12 Pm Sunday - no response - later till date he do not even lift the call - several sms sent no use - the just care for the customtakeouter even we die - its of no use use to them.
Surprising, one technician called recently and visited my residence - I felt now the issue is fixed at alst - but he wanted to rectify the signal problem faced by me - when I asked to install the things first he was shocked and replied that the local dealer told him to rectify the signal - this is the data base and communication AIRTEL HAS on their customer issues HATSOFF.
Being FED UP I send several mails to the CC and non other than the SUPREMO Mr SBM - I received just once call tendering apology and later till date I am left to diy my own death.
In these circumstances - I REQUEST ALL THE MS.COM READERS NEVER EVER GO FOR THE AIRTEL DTH -
AS NOT EVEN THE customtakeouter Care BUT even the supremos desk will remain unanswered if you have any such issues - ELSE U NEED TO BE ATECHNICIAN YOURSELF SO THAT U CAN FIX YOUR OWN ISSUES WITHOUT DEPENDING ON AIRTEL AND JUST PAY THEM FOR THE SAKE OF PAYING ...........
SO FRIENDS KINDLY BE AWARE OF AIRTEL DTH...........................................
