The new ad goes something like this - a couple are joyriding over some mountains (where are these? certainly not in India), in a two-seater plane out of the 60s, they seem to be having fun.
Suddenly the engine dies out. And they spiral into the mountains, which are thick with vegetation. Somehow survive without a scatch, the guy tries to radio for help, while the girl using an Airtel connected mobile phone, tells her Dad she’ll be really late.
Can’t really think how it fits into the Airtel ’’Express Yourself’’ tagline. More like an ad for Hutch’s ’’Everywhere you go ...’’.
Isn’t really original as well.
First thing you do after surviving a plane crash, tell your parents that you’ll be late?
And the special effects aren’t really very well done, scene doesn’t look realistic.
But still, ok ad. Nothing special. 3 stars out of 5.
