A really nice ad after a long time

Say Yes

Say No

Say Something

Say Nothing

Inspire

Conspire

Confess

Celebrate

Negotiate

Speak up

Speak out

(Hope I have got the flow right and mot missed anything. Anything missed out can be attributed to lack of coffee at 3.00 a.m., when I was drafting this).

I had forgotten Negotiate, thanks to Whacko/grunge for reminding me

This is the flow of the Airtel ad. These words come on the screen with some pictures that go with the words and lastly, the words “Express Yourself’

The ad is one of the really good ones I have seen in recent times.

It is one of the few ads that uses pictures very well. Each of the pictures goes well with the words that flash. For eg, there is a child whispering something (Confess), a crowd of Indian supporters rushing forward (Celebrate), Three girls taking and laughing among themselves (Conspire), our own Tendulkar (Inspire), sign language (Speak Up), a couple sitting away from each other (Say Something), A girl getting married (Say Yes), Violent mobs (Say no), etc. The pictures manages to express and proves that they are indeed worth a thousand words, as the old saying goes.

I did not see any logic except for the first four and the last two, but the theme was expressing yourself and think the ad went very well.

The pace of the ad is very good and is not rushed, but really lets the viewer watch it and gives time for the thought to sink in. Very well done.

I thought the AR Rahman ad was good, but this time, the team has outdone itself with this Airtel ad. The ad is simple yet very good conceptually and also very impactful.

See this ad if it comes up when you are watching TV. I do not know if this is being shown in the movie theatres, but would love to watch it on the Big Screen.

Worth Watching !!! Definitely !!
