IPTV: Go for it, if it's available in your city

(1) Do you like advertisements coming in between while watching your favourite show

(2) Is it feasible for you to remain awaken at late night or early mornings if your favourite movie is going to be shown at that time ?

(3) Do you like recording your favourite program by switching on your TV and start recording ?

(4) When multiple favourite shows are running on different channels, do you like compromising all of them except 1 ?

If your answer is "NO" for all above, then IPTV is there for you. It solves all the problems at one shot. You can have 40 prime channels auto recorded for 7 days. Watch it whenever you want and the way you want (without breaks). It just costs 250/- a month in Bangalore. Spend quality time with your family instead of wasting time to see unwanted commercials and waiting for your wanted program to come. It offers decent (not digital as of now) quality and seamless broadcasting. Yes the remote-control time is sluggish, but it’s ok. IPTV is the future of television, where the user is the king.

Just watch all your programs in time shift and that’s pretty much it. Once you are accustom to it, you won’t be able to adjust to Tata Sky, Airtel Digital, or any other such dish tv, even if they offer super digital quality.

I will definitely give 2 thumbs up and go for it if it’s there in your city.  My perspective of watching TV has completely changed for last 1.5-2 years and same will happen to you. I hope Airtel concentrates on power of IPTV rather than its own crappy digital TV, I heard that as of Sep-2012 they have stopped issuing new connection in Bangalore, hope that resumes soon.
