I am staying in Bangalore since long and using Airtel network since I came to Bangalore. Initially Airtel service was very good I could get the network everywhere in Bangalore but nowadays it’s very worst like I don’t even get a signal sometimes in my phone and the 4G never works in my area.
I complained to the customer care many times about the phone signal and the 4g. Customer care always say like they will fix my issue. But I would say it is not a fastest not a good service provider. The customer support they just keep you waiting for long even if you don’t get network even if they charge you more for the postpaid plans. I think Airtel just claims to be the fastest network only in the main area even if you are in a metro city still there is a possibility like you will get the best network only in the main area not like the outskirts like where do I stay. I compared the postpaid plans with other networks I find it really too high and if you say if you want to move to prepaid from postpaid you have to go through a long procedure you have to visit the store you have to give the reasons then again that will take 7 to 10 days to move this procedure is pathetic. And then the customer support tries to convince you to stay in postpaid saying mam the prepaid plans and offers are not for you so you are in no way you have to be in postpaid that is the reason I wanted to move to a different network. I feel Airtel is just a brand who got hype because of the advertisements.
Kindly check your network area before going to the Airtel and I believe if you go to some other network you may find the better than Airtel. If you are really rich you can go for Airtel but if you really want to minimise your phone bills please think about it before going to Airtel as they know how to snatch money from customers unnecessarily.
