Airtel is the only mobile operator that has huge list of complaints like our pending criminal cases in India.
Upon that Airtel is least bothered about complaints from its customers. Once I used to recommend Airtel to many of my friends but now no & never.
Airtel Issues:
1) Automatically starts any service or some value added services & starts deducting money. On complaining, they would say that customer himself has started the service.
2) Call summary what our mobile shows after hanging up the call and what Airtel shows (For Prepaid) has difference of 5 seconds. Airtels counter is faster by 5 seconds.
3) Customer Care Executives are more pathetic than Airtel. If they are in a mood then they will respond to our queries else would just hang up the phone.
4) In bulk sms pack (Rs. 95 per month & 15000 sms per month but per day only 500 sms allowed), if on a single day I send 300 sms then on checking the balance, it should show balance as 200 sms for that day but it will be less than that also. Meaning Airtel cheats its customers even in SMSes.
5) Recently Airtel was demanding documents to be re-submitted for verification by government. Without informing its customers to submit the document, Airtel directly disconnected all outgoing calls & smses.
Airtel dosent has a professional approach towards its customers. Its only when we make complaint to Head Office then some small action is taken place. But everybody dosent have time to Run to Head Office leaving their work.
If this continues then after few years people might say, "There was an operator called Airtel, but because of ites unprofessional approach towards its customers, its no more now".
