Airtel in delhi rocks big time.It’s the best and the largest cellular network in india till date.I purchased my airtel connection last year.Since then I have faced very minute problems in it’s services.
Those minute problems:
1.Their ’customer care’ is Irritating, Irritating and Irritating.They never pick up the phone.Till the time they pick it up(By Chance) , the customer is just about to cut the call.This problem is not only faced by the people in Delhi but by the people in all parts of our beautiful country India.
- They keep on sending messages informing us about the useless offers provided by them.For example-:’’Get updates of the cricket matches going on and the latest news just on airtel.To subscribe send to .’’
Over with the problems, now let’s go through it’s advantages:
It is the only network except MTNL which provides it’s services in J & K .
(Jammu and Kashmir).Also it has the biggest coverage area in India.
The bills always come on time.They are never late and infillated.
The signal strength is full even in the basements and car parking area’s.
It was the first network to introduce a thing like ’Hello Tunes’/’Collect SMS’.Today also no network can compete with it’s various services specially the ’Hello Tunes’ service.
You can make a call till the last rupee finishes up.In other networks like-IDEA AND HUTCH, you should have atleast a minimum balance of RS 5.OO to make a call.
It’s postpaid plans are very cheap and advantageous.
Conversion time from prepaid to postpaid is 26 hrs while other networks take about 72 hrs for the same.
The quality of the sim provide by airtel is awesome.It never get’s deteorated.
Airtel provides free activation of GPRS.Only download charges apply.
(In prepaid connection.)In case of other networks a minimum charge of Rs 99 is deducted.
Since Every network has some kind of negative points, So here are some of them for Airtel:
When Airtel and other networks charge Rs 50 for going outside the home network. At that point of time I feel to kick them hard and teach them a lesson.!!!

2.Airtel to Others: Rs 2.00
3.Airtel to Airtel STD: Rs 2.00
4.Airtel to others STD: Rs 2.65
Normal Message: Rs 1.50
STD Message: Rs 2.00
ISD Message: Rs 5.00
VAS: Rs 3.00
I agree with the people who say that airtel is a bit expensive, but they should also see the benefits and the services provided to the airtel customer’s.

Good news:-The news bulletin was saying that all operator’s will slash thier calling rates effectively from the 1st of January 2006.So relax. :)
