AM an NRI and visit India every summer vacation and always used Airtell for my 2 months stay . Every year the service used to be so good that when my other relatives used to come from abroad I used to get them AIrTell.But Not anymore, I landed on 22 june and on 24 went to get Airtell connection from PUSHP VIHAR in Rohini, the staff there was o.k not much aware of any out of turn questions and requested for pic & passport copy which I gave, & 100 for prepaid connection .I was assured I would get my connection in 24 hrs , (this was bad but O.K).At night I cuold see Airtell LOGO on my Mobile so naturaly assumed my conection had been activated but when I dialled 123 I got connection Error so I dialled 9810198101(they used to be very polite & helpfull last year) but one person caled Suman answewrd and she was so Rude, arrogant and disconnected me after teling me that My mobile will not be activated for 48 hrs & maybe by Monday.I am most dissapointed cuz what is the use of being number 1 Service provider if U cant actvate a phone within 24 hrs and If ur Staff is so rude it Reflects the COmpany Image .Please Do something About it.Thanks.After my experircne with ur staff I am ready Not to use Air TELL EVER AGAIN and am there are many people like me.
