Sends payment bills for closed connections for 3-4 months(after they have been closed and all previous payments cleared) and if you dont pay them - you get Lok Adalat E-mail Notice. I got a 4G LTE post paid connection and this is what happened to me.
I have 8 Mb/ps Airtel broadband connection at home which disconnects every 10-15 mins. Have filed the complaint at least 10 times - the problem hasnt been sorted out till now.
I had a leased line connection for my Office, Airtel hasnt been able to shift it to our new office location in 2 months.
I just now tried recharging my personal 3G Data Card . I tried twice. Both the times - my debit card got debited but Data Card wasnt recharged. If there is really some problem that Airtel is aware of - why are you debiting the money. You can tell the users that the recharge facility isnt working now so people wont recharge but no, Airtel is hungry and wants money unnecessarily.
And So On.
Lesson:
Long Term - Wait for a new Indian company or a good foreign telecommunications service provider to provide services in India.
Short Term - Leave Airtel immediately.
