Airtel is the worst in service and customer care. I am staying in Vasai, Maharastra. I have been using their service since last 1 month. Recently, they have introduced a new scheme in which Airtel subscriber has to pay Rs 50. If one does not want to go for that scheme then he or she has to send a sms ’’NO’’. I did not wanted to go for the new scheme as it was of no use to me. So I had send an sms ’’NO’’. But I didn’t get any acknowledgement in return of my SMS.
I had send SMS at least 4-5 times. So I spoke to the customer care also so that I am sure that no amount will be deducted from my account. He told me that since I have send SMS ’’NO’’ for the new scheme there will be no deductions. But I was surprised when the next day I checked my account & found that Rs 50 has been deducted. Then I called up the customer care & asked them that when I had send SMS ’’NO’’ then howcome they had deducted Rs 50.
After knowing all the details they told me that my amount will be refunded. The very next day I again checked my account & found that no amount was refunded. I called up the customer care again, then they told me that the amount can’t be refunded. This means that their SMS service was not working or we can say that they did it deliberately & even customer care was also of no help.
Its really disappointing to say that after charging so much service tax they can’t provide us with proper service. They are cheating us. So friends, be alert.
