I am using Airtel Landline 40942540/39 past 1 year and till now it was really great operating it. But airtel has a very cruel policy of disconnecting the line without notifying the customers before doing it.
You will definitely receive a prompt reminder once or twice... and they even take your request for holding the line for more days so you can make the payment. But practically it will not happen. When they can just disconnect the line, why cant the re-connect the resume the service in the same speed after the payment is made?
But the backoffice of Airtel Service just sucks. Though the payment was delayed I had reqeusted Airtel to send their executive to collect the cash for which the backend promised to release outgoing and incoming facility of the phones within 2 hours.. but now it has crossed more then 24 Hrs.. but the phones are not connected..
Technical team blames Accounts, Accounts blames collection executive, executive blames their manager, manager blames the team leader, team leader (Sriram) promises to resolve within 2 hours.. and that 2 hours will happen 24 hrs and so on. This is one of the worst experience I have gone through Airtel today... God saves Airtel Digital TV..!!!
