I have to say something abt airtel service, a year back ago I used to use airtel connection with electronic clearance, for the first two month it was fine, the amount was deducted from my account accordingly, after a laterer date, the mobile was disconnected due to non payment of the bill, when I call te customer care they told me the check was bounced.
When I checked the account it had same amount as the airtel bill amount, may be I have to maintain min. balance so may be it is bounched, so I paid the amount with extra 50 rs for check bounce, and in the next month once again my mobile got disconnected with only incoming, so when I checked with the airtel they told check bounce, I asked the details of the check boucne, and other details so that I can enquire with bank regarding this, when I check the bank account it had a lum sum amount, then I enquired with the bank they said they didnt received any check from airtel.
And also they told me, if any check bounce occurs in your account their will charge of -150 rs to your account and also pin point the account number is wrong which the details sent by airtel. so I got annoyed and went to the airtel, and showed the account number was wrong.. shouted at them and asked for the refund of the 50 rs which u collected previous month and this month too. So they rectified and refunded in next billing cycle.
Conclusion, be careful even if it is one rupee, check the bill itemisedlly. Check one by one, if it is our mistake take it as granted, if it is other mistake, dont leave them live happily.
