Stealing customers' money.

This is the mail I sent to them today.

’’Even though I know that this mail would not make any difference to your greed I feel I must make my grievance known to you. I would appreciate it much, if this mail is forwarded to some one in your company who matters.

Why do you reduce your tariff if you take the money back through the back door? A few days back when you reduced the tariffs, you deducted Rs. 50.00 straight away from the balance amount. Now you have started deducting Rs. 0.50 per day. Is it not stealing money from your customers? Is it not treachery? Do you give any option before starting stealing? Why the default option is to allow you to start deducting money? Why don’t you ask for consent of the customer for such deductions?

I do expect a satisfactory reply. Otherwise, I will start a campaign against your company and keep you posted about its progress.

For starters, I am sending you the first link where I am posting this mail.’’

Two days have passed and there is still no reply. Why should a behemoth like Bharati bother about little non-entities like individual customers? Probably, they laughed derisively when they read my email. ’’What can a mere customer do?’’, they must have thought.

Now, I wish to put a question to the readers of this review? Are we really so powerless? Is it true that all we can do is to vent our frustration at some site and nothing happens at all? If it is true that there is a great strength in information and collective action, may I suggest that we at least do our best to spread our grievances as far and wide as we can. Would you, my fellow sufferers at the hands of such elements or prospective customers of the Great Airtel, send this page or its link to as many people as you can? Can we hurt the company a little? Shall we try?

If not, then perhaps we are getting what we deserve.
