Dear Airtel,
We want to bring to your notice the following fraud that Airtel has committed:
8 MBPS Dsl service has been installed in our office right from the beginning
(june 2011) at dsl no. 0120-4239816(A/c no. 16494318).
We were very disappointed to see that the actual speed provided to us was only
2 MBPS. We complained many a times, but as their was no out come, we recently
pursued our complaint very aggressively. Finally we were given a compaint no.
5694184 and the Engineer appeared in our office on 15th October and set the
speed right.
The fact that for the last 4 months, we have been charged for 8 MBPS(@ Rs.
2999 per month) but provided a service of just 2 MBPS(@ Rs 1099 per month),
therefore our money Rs. 7600 should be refunded to us at the earliest.
The calculation is:
Rs.1900 per month(2999-1099=1900). So 4 months makes it Rs. 7600.
Airtel should be fair enough to charge for the actual services provided by them
and not loot their customtakeouters in this way.

It is also very discouraging to know the level of awareness of Airtel¿s
employees.
In past couple of months we were given strange explaintaions for the slow
speed, viz.
1. In NSEZ(our office location), 8 MBPS service is not feasible, maximum
possible speed was only 4 MBPS. In this case we told them that they shouldnt
have been given this plan if this service couldnt have been provided. And the
service is not even 4 MBPS, its only 2 MBPS.
2. After some time we lodged a complaint again for the speed issues. this time
we were told that 8 MBPS plan is available in our area. But as we are running 5
- 6 computers(in the office) therefore the download speed has reduced to 2
MBPS. I had to tell them that we are software professionals and we very well
know that such is not the case.

Is there anyone in Airtel who could explain to us how Airtel could cheat its
customtakeouters like this.
