I am holding an AIRTEL prepaid connection.
I found that an amount of Rs25 has been deducted from my prepaid account without any authorisation and consent from me. My balance has reduced from Rs116 today morning to Rs 91 by evening through which time I have not made a single call or SMS, so the amount has been deducted only bythese AIRTELwallahs for some unspecified reason without my consent.
This is not the first time AIRTELWallahshave deducted money from my account unauthorisedly. I will paste below an email sent by me on 9/11/2007 for the unauthorised deduction of Rs 20/- for enabling background music which I never asked for which also has not been refunded to me till date.
I AM REALLY FED UP OF USING AIRTEL SERVICES WITH THESE PROBLEMS FROM AIRTELS SIDE!
These people give all sorts of advertisements saying they are expanding network to provide good service, but now I find that they find the money for that by filching money from unsuspecting consumers
I am posting this message not because of the meager amount of Rs45 but to bring to light the sickly, cheap and condemnable way of working of AIRTEL ot filch money from customers accounts.
I work in an organisation of 7, 500 people and I am marking a copy of this message to my friends to circulate it in our intranet network to popularise the kind of service provided by AIRTEL.

AIRTEL people are at it again!
TOday they chopped of Rs25 again from my prepaid account reducing my balance to Rs 24 from Rs49 for using AIRTEL live services! I am to use their AIRTEL Live services on my low end ANokia 1110i phone! I complained to the customer service which is manned by clueless people who keep on assuring me(as they did pereviously too) that the amount will be reverted in 24 hours. An amount which is taken from another person without his knowledge or information or consent has got a word in Dictionary . It is called theft. Colloquially it can be called as pick pocketing. Is AIRTEL stooping so low? God save the company if it is to cop so much curses from the consumers
