Mr. Perfect | Mr. Cool | Mr. Simple

There was a time I waited for coverage on a rock and when it always felt like the wind brought the coverage for me. That was back in 2002 where Airtel was just new to the world and it gradually conquered from no where and we have seen the history repeats with its advertisements and marketing strategies. Hutch was renamed to Vodafone and I see the same Pug gets into its pink house and sleep so peacefully.

I was a Hutch user earlier however I didn’t find it so good to be one of their customer due to the ‘excess’ bill which I couldn’t afford since then. Now, let me take you to the art of expressing yourself. And I will be taking you all to a different world where I will introduce Mr. Perfect, Mr. Cool and Mr. Simple.

Why don’t you look through this brand and what Mr. Perfect has to talk about it?

Well, for me (Mr. Perfect) Airtel is a brand that actually connects heart and like they show in their advertisement’s there are many breath taking moments I had sharing my experience to my soul mate who was far yet close to me.

I find their service is too good compared to the other providers in India and a very reasonable charge when it comes to STD calls and Local Calls. But since I am using a post paid connection, the SMS rate can be little cheaper for the same fact that I am paying 50 paise for 1 sms and have only 100 SMS’s free per month.

Anyway when needs are met I should shut my mouth and look for new offers that keep changing unlike when I was using another company’s service (students plan) and later when I recharged it for another amount, the whole plan changed to another one which they couldn’t revert back.

So keeping all those simple things which took place in my life with their service, I am fully satisfied with Airtel’s service and if I find any problems, then there are these nice customer service people for help. Cheers to Airtel.

Mr. Perfect says everything perfect about this brand however Mr. Cool got to say something more and they are:

I don’t care if there is no network but this hello tunes rock. I think they should fix their mobile office service so as to use it more spontaneously. Well, I am cool with Airtel because their advertisements say to ‘express yourself’ even though I don’t have good coverage at my place.

I am okay with it since I have a terrace at my place where I can see full points on my mobile and I am all set to exchange hearts. I am okay with the fact that this hello tunes have nothing interesting and the way they make penny out of it. You see, I still keep exploring them until I get my bill with such a huge amount. Oh, I use 6 hours free talk time plan but I never bothered to check out the conditions apply since the amount I use to talk is more than the plan suggests. Sigh!!

Mr. Cool is actually cool about the fact that he spent a lot for using a Mobile phone and still believes in the fact ‘Express Yourself’.

Now, let me introduce the story about a common man who use cell phone for a living or to stay in touch with his family. That may include many of us and knowing the fact that we were also one of the above mentioned characters in life, sometimes and now it’s time to re-discover ourselves.

Mr. Simple has to say everything about a brand that will actually reflects on this brand’s business. They rule the market and if Airtel can meet up to the simple man’s needs and wants then they won the so called gigantic battles between the Cell phone manias.*

I am a simple man who uses cell phone for a living and I believe they can do much more than what they actually show in the advertisements. They are of no use for me. For example they show a lot about hello tunes but does it actually benefit me and I hope instead of investing money on coming up with creative advertisements, they can actually provide some offers related to re-charging and hence like what they came up with those life time free incoming so and so.

I use to explore through the hello tunes but I was highly disappointed with their search menu where I had to press one by one to find which belongs to my taste and recently was again disappointed with their song catcher and also the *678# option to search and find my favorite band. So I am not using Hello Tunes and I think I should stick to my basics and that’s to use cell phone only for communication.

I think Vodafone have got a better service when it comes to their caller tunes and I find Airtel should stick on to what they started it off with. That’s their service and recently was little upset for not getting my 60 Rs recharged through online and one of their executives promised me that it will be recharged in 2 days time which went in vein. All is good but remember the basics. That’s customer is the king and without which no brand will sustain.

When I have described about these 3 characters, it’s time for you to choose where you belong and where you should belong. I am not sure if this review was as useful as you thought however all I wanted to portray through this review was to ‘maintain’ the ‘brand’ image by adding more service and offers. Not just by the advertisements and marketing.

Cheers!!!
