I have airtel pre-Paid connection from the last 2.5 yrs.
On 17th Nov 05, my Hello tunes for Airtel prepaid phone has been activated without my consent. This resulted in deduction of Rs. 30/- & thereby reducing my balance to Rs. -14.95/- (minus). I tried calling and explaining airtel on 98450 98450 for 4 times, but all was waste of my time. I also send email to customercare@airtelworld.com & customercare@airtelIndia.com, but no reply after 10 days. Now I am not able to make or receive any call or SMS to anyone.
Now I have been advised to reChange again & send hello Tunes cancellation request. I don’t understand why I am forced to reCharge & thereby increasing my work.
I just want a very very very simple basic mobile service from Airtel, service to Send & receive Call & SMS. All I wanted is to remove the Hello Tunes from my mobile & revert back the amount charged to me. The question here is not of Rs. 30, but the Service provided by the Provider.
Moreover I am loosing the validity days & not able to make or send SMS to anyone.
Today is 28th Nov 05 & no action taken from Airtel till date.
Not sure if Airtel is capable of making it up to customer’s expectations.
