I made the mistake of taking two different Airtel Landline/Broadband connections for self & my parents thinking that since it is a private company their service would be good. In my case , on shifting residence within NCR I was told that they would take 16 days to shift the connection which I think is excessive. In my parents case, they were going out of station hence wanted to disconnect the connection. An Airtel rep showed up, took the outstanding amount, physically cut the wires & assured that the connection is terminated.
However they have recieved bills for two months after that. On talking to customer service, they are worse than useless simply parroting that the bills need to be cleared for a connection that is not even connected for the last four months.Even getting through to customer service and speaking to a human being is an ordeal in itself.
