Customer service and manipulated charges

I am using this Airtel mobile postpaid connection from last 6 years but suddenly they have stop sending alert msgs about data usage. Since I keep a Tab on my Usage by sending SMS to 121 I noticed that my usage was about 90% so I went to my Airtel App on my smart phone and opt for smart bytes and hit activate. now they did not activate the services and charged for data usage.


My question here is when there application has some problem why should I pay for it.When I spoke to there customer service agent he was not at all helpful and said you have to pay for it.


Airtel Sucks and there customer service is pathetic I am moving all my nos to some other network thanks to number portability.
